How provider and price checks work
Every published provider has a current operator-controlled source. Every displayed number keeps its billing basis, availability and exact UTC check time.
Provider coverage
Trade associations, competitor directories and search results are discovery sources only. A provider becomes public after a current operator-controlled page supports the identity and storage activity. Operators, physical facilities and delivered-container service areas are recorded separately.
Price status
Every facility has a visible state: fresh, aging, stale, quote required, unavailable, failed or changed. A sold-out price can remain visible for transparency, but unavailable and stale observations cannot enter exact-size rankings, cheapest-provider claims or savings calculations.
Billing and promotions
Weekly, four-week and calendar-month billing remain distinct. A monthly equivalent is an editorial calculation shown alongside the original basis. Promotions and the post-promotion recurring price are separate; rankings use the recurring amount when it is known. VAT, insurance, deposits, locks and administration charges remain separate fields.
Freshness
Public checkout or feed sources are targeted daily to weekly; public price pages weekly to monthly; dated research quotes for 30 days; and quote-only states monthly. Public tables show the exact UTC time of the recorded check.

Research enquiries
Where no public rate exists, a real company-controlled identity may request the standard 50 sq ft three-month quote and an indicative 100 sq ft alternative. No false documents or personal circumstances are used, and only structured facts—not private correspondence—are published.

Providers and readers can use the free correction route. Corrections do not buy placement or ranking.
